Living Simply
My husband & I strive to teach our children to "Live Simply". We find value in simple things in life, like a day trip away from home or sitting down for supper together. My husband is a hard working mechanic, he spends his days and most evenings repairing anything from weedeaters to tractors and automobiles. We feel it's important for the mother to be home raising the children and caring for the home. So, to make this possible we have really found the importance of living simply and stretching a dollar! When I make my weekly shopping trips I find a lot of valuable items in thrift stores. I say valueable not always meaning expensive, but something we find value in. I purchase a lot of clothing for our family and items for our home second hand. This saves our family a lot of money! I also coupon and I love it! Now I'm not a hoarder couponer, but I do try to keep our panty and freezer full to feed our growing boys. Also, I try to keep us stocked up on personal items (toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc.). Most of these items I purchase for little money or for FREE!! I hope that thru this blog, I can help others learn to live simply and find value in the simple things in life!! God Bless!!
